FINE PRINT CONSTRUCTION INC. PRIVACY POLICY

Effective Date: October 7, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Fine Print Construction Inc. ("Fine Print," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information. It covers our marketing website at www.fineprintconstruction.com and our private web-based operations portal, FinePrint Operation Systems, at https://fineprint-operation-systems.dawud513774.chatgpt.site (together, the "Services"). Fine Print Construction Inc. is an MBE-certified company, in business since 2018, and part of Fine Print Companies, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following types of information:

  • Contact information. Your name, company name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.

  • Account and login data. Usernames, login credentials, user roles, and authentication records for authorized users of FinePrint Operation Systems.

  • Business and financial records from connected services. When an authorized user connects a third-party service, we access business records from that service. From QuickBooks Online, this may include jobs and projects, customers, vendors, bills, invoices, and payments. From Square, this may include payment and location information. We also reference project data from Buildertrend.

  • Payment data. Payments are processed by Square. Fine Print does not collect or store full payment card numbers. We may receive limited transaction details from Square, such as the amount, date, status, and payment reference.

  • Device and usage data. Information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, actions taken in the portal, and the dates and times of access.

  • Cookies on the website. Our website, hosted on Wix, uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, although some site features may not work properly if cookies are disabled.

  • Contact and bid form submissions. Information you provide when you fill out a contact form, request a bid, or otherwise send us a message, including any project details you choose to share.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Services, including project tracking, payment routing per job, payment requests, and bookkeeping sync.

  • Sync records between FinePrint Operation Systems and connected services such as QuickBooks Online and Square, as directed by authorized users.

  • Respond to inquiries, contact form messages, and bid requests.

  • Manage user accounts and control access to the portal.

  • Communicate with you about projects, payments, invoices, and the Services.

  • Monitor, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.

  • Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and enforce our agreements.

3. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING

Fine Print Construction Inc. is a United States company. We process information where it is needed to provide the Services you or your organization requested, to carry out our contracts, to pursue our legitimate business interests (such as operating and securing the Services), to comply with legal obligations, or with your consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers and processors. We use trusted third parties to run the Services, including Intuit (QuickBooks Online), Square, Buildertrend, Wix (website hosting), Google Workspace (email), and the hosting provider for the FinePrint Operation Systems portal. These providers process information on our behalf or as part of the integration you authorize, and under their own privacy terms.

  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.

  • Business transfers. If Fine Print Construction Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

  • With your direction. We may share information with others when you ask us to or give your consent.

5. HOW WE ACCESS AND USE QUICKBOOKS DATA

FinePrint Operation Systems connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's secure OAuth 2.0 authorization process. We access QuickBooks data only as follows:

  • Only with authorization. We access a QuickBooks Online company only after an authorized user of that company signs in with Intuit and expressly grants permission. We never ask for or store your QuickBooks password.

  • Only the scope granted. The connection uses the QuickBooks Online accounting scope, with read and write access to jobs and projects, customers, vendors, bills, invoices, and payments.

  • Only for stated purposes. We use QuickBooks data solely to provide the features of FinePrint Operation Systems: project tracking, payment routing per job, payment requests, and bookkeeping sync. We do not use QuickBooks data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

  • Disconnect at any time. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time from within the FinePrint Operation Systems portal or from the Apps section of your QuickBooks Online settings. Disconnecting revokes the access tokens, and we will no longer be able to access your QuickBooks data. Data already synced before you disconnected is handled as described in Section 6.

The same principles apply to our Square connection and our use of Buildertrend project data.

6. DATA RETENTION

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it. When a connected service is disconnected, the related access tokens are revoked and no new data is retrieved; previously synced records may be kept as part of our business records unless you ask us to delete them and we are not required to keep them.

7. DATA SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), OAuth 2.0 token-based authorization for connected services, access limited to authorized users, and reliance on established providers for payment processing and hosting. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential and tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

You may ask to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Delete your personal information, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.

You may also opt out of non-essential emails at any time by following the instructions in the message or by contacting us. To make any request, email dawud@fineprintcompanies.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, state laws may give you additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the sale of personal information or certain targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any rights available to you, contact us at dawud@fineprintcompanies.com.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at https://www.fineprintconstruction.com/privacy-policy and change the effective date above. If changes are significant, we may also notify users by email or through the portal. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
